How to Wrap Your Own Hair Around a Ponytail

Before you wrap, choose your favorite ponytail, it is better colors match to your own hair color.  

1. Brush your hair to remove any tangles.

2. Gather your hair and tie it up with a hair tie wherever you like (high, mid, or low—it’s your favorite way).

3. Make sure the ponytail is secure and smooth, as this will make wrapping easier.

4. Take a small section of hair from the underside of your ponytail—about the thickness of your pinky finger.

5. Make sure it’s long enough to wrap around the hair tie a couple of times. If you have thick hair, you might need a slightly larger section.

6. Pull the section of hair tightly and start wrapping it around the base of your ponytail to cover the hair tie completely.

7. Keep wrapping until you reach the end of the strand or until the hair tie is fully hidden.

8. Hold the end of the section tightly so it doesn’t unravel.
